Qube Events provides event lighting for Private Events, Barmitzvahs, Outdoor Shows, Weddings, Parties, Road shows and even the odd theatrical production.
Lighting is the key visual element that gives a dominating creative influence to the atmosphere of your event. Most venues’ in-house lighting is standardised around a basic requirement, often too bright, for creative moods which is not ideal for your atmosphere of your event. By using controlled attractive and creative ambient lighting affects you can create the perfect mood and feel in your venue. The right venue lighting will transform the way your event looks and feels to your guests without costing the earth.
Lighting is one of the elements, along with scent and temperature, that subliminally influence the atmosphere of your event. Although each creation is very customised, the following are a few common techniques that can be integrated to enhance the look and feel of your venue:
Roof Wash Lighting
A room or marquee can be totally transformed by the use of roof wash lighting. Complimentary colours are used to create an ambient glow throughout the venue whilst spectacularly illuminating the roof. You may have specific colours in mind so we can play with a number of different blends of colour to suit your preferences.
Table Pinspot Lighting
Pinspot lighting is probably the most effective way of illuminating a dining area. The sharp beams of light illuminate the table centres, resulting in a soft warm light for dining. This effect is particularly recommended to highlight centrepieces.
Uplighters
Uplighters can be used to accentuate beautiful architecture or to spice up bland walls and drapes with a splash of colour and vibrancy. This effect can work very nicely if there are particular features of the room that would like to draw the eye to.
